Is Online Learning Right for Me? Yes! If you are self-motivated and capable of independent learning. Successful online learning depends on time-management skills. In fact, you must dedicate the same amount of time to online learning as you would attending a live class. You also need to be comfortable reaching out to your instructors when you need additional help and interacting electronically with your peers through online discussion boards and chatrooms. The following should also be true of you: You are able to understand written instructions, save and manage files on your computer, know how to email attachments/upload documents, and how to install software from the internet.
