This is your opportunity to introduce students to your department or program. Host an Open House where you provide students with helpful resources, offer snacks to grab before and after their classes, or invite students for a tour of your office and to meet your team! This year, we are asking everyone to submit their events on VikesConnect using their department profile (see video instructions below on how to create your profile). VikesConnect will now serve as the University Events Calendar. The deadline to submit events is Friday, August 18.

We are not asking departments and programs to submit marketing materials for the information tables this year. Instead, students will be directed to follow department profiles on VikesConnect for important information. When you submit your event be sure to check the Week of Welcome (WOW) box, which will help categorize all WOW events on the calendar for easy accessibility.
