Our Technology Transformation

Dear colleagues,

Since its inception, a key part of our Cleveland State United strategic plan has been the implementation of a significant technology transformation. With a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, we can enhance our daily operations in many departments, better support all faculty and staff, and ultimately strengthen the experience of our students. I am pleased to share that CSU has selected Workday as our next ERP system and Incline Alchemy, Inc. as our implementation partner following a rigorous evaluation process. At their meeting earlier today, the CSU Board of Trustees provided their approval for this strategic initiative, and we are eager to begin moving forward.

With Workday, CSU will have a user-friendly platform that integrates student services, finance and human resources functions, and Alchemy has significant experience in implementing Workday in higher education settings. The implementation process for a project of this scale will take several years, and we will need your collaboration and insight as the work progresses. You will be asked to take part in training sessions, serve as subject matter experts and provide input on new systems.

We are committed to providing you with information and resources throughout the process to keep you up to date. In early 2026, you will receive more information on how you can support and participate in Workday implementation.

This vital technology transformation is an investment in our University and our students. And it is another important step along our path as a university “where everyone thrives.” Thank you in advance for your partnership in a successful implementation of our new ERP system.
