CLEVELAND, Ohio (September 7, 2022) -- Lee Fisher, dean of the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, brings the unique leadership perspective he gained in his extensive career spanning the public, private and nonprofit sectors to a bi-weekly podcast, “Living Justice. Living Leadership.” The podcast launches September 7, 2022 with inaugural guest U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

A description of the first season of episodes can be found on the podcast website.

Fisher served as the Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, the Attorney General of Ohio, an Ohio state legislator, a nonprofit president/CEO, and a law firm partner before becoming dean of the law school in 2016.

“I’ve been fortunate to have a career across multiple sectors, and equally fortunate that that I took away what I consider the most remarkable key to effecting positive change,” said Dean Fisher. “I realized that in nearly all circumstances, successful change comes when there is justice and when there is leadership.”

As host of the podcast, Fisher will interview a spectrum of guests who are leaders and advocates for justice, from current and former U.S. Senators, Governors, Attorneys General, Ohio Supreme Court Justices, CEOs, and lawyers to disrupters, changemakers, and innovators. Guests come from both sides of the aisle, but all have one thing in common – they are leaders and advocates for justice.

“The mission of CSU Cleveland-Marshall College of Law’s is Learn Law. Live Justice. We teach our students not only to be great lawyers, but also to be great leaders who live justice every day,” said Dean Fisher. “Through our Living Leadership, Living Justice podcast we seek to inspire our listeners—whether they are lawyers or not — to do the same.
