Facilities Services

This year the Department of Facilities Services created an annual report to highlight our accomplishments from 2017.  Some highlights include:

  • Obtained a Silver accreditation from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education in recognition of our sustainable efforts
  • Replaced the aging Student Center Atrium wood floor
  • Created a new concrete pathway outside the Law School connecting E. 19th to right across from the Union Building on Euclid Avenue
  • Obtained over 30 million dollars in funding from the State of Ohio for capital improvement projects
  • Added five large LED lights to the pathway between the Physical Education Building and the Health Sciences Building
  • Upgraded classroom and lobby spaces in Main Classroom & the Labs in the Science Building
  • Received a nine paged article in Properties Magazine, Northeast Ohio's monthly realty, construction and architecture magazine
