Andrew Badza ’25, Washkewicz College of Engineering
Badza, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, said he is thankful for all of his experiences and the role CSU has had in shaping him into the person he is today.
Daira Besa ’25, Monte Ahuja College of Business
Besa, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Information Systems and Marketing, said she has learned that growth comes from taking that first step, no matter if the direction is what you expected.
Mary Hansard ’25, Levin College of Public Affairs and Education
Hansard, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in organizational leadership and urban studies, said being Valedictorian recognizes the hard work, dedication and perseverance she has demonstrated while overcoming adversity and allows her to inspire others.
Brad Isabella ’25, College of Health
Isabella, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences, said his academic excellence, research, service and impact within the community make him a strong candidate for valedictorian.
Mays Turabi ’25, College of Arts and Sciences
Turabi, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish and pursuing a pre-law degree, said her success at CSU is rooted in her love for what she does.

Gillum said CSU has inspired his future by providing the knowledge and support needed to prepare for his future career.
CSU Student of Distinction: Jack Whitman
Whitman said his family’s entrepreneurial legacy will continue because of CSU, thanks in part to the opportunities Cleveland's University provides.
Student of Distinction: Julie Onderak
Onderak said her success comes from faith and a strong work ethic, and that CSU offered her many opportunities to succeed.
