Specialize your degree with a local/urban management certificate. Students who already hold Regular status and are pursuing a graduate degree will need approval from their program director and adherence to the College of Graduate Studies policies. The certificate program consists of 12 credit hours.
Urban Health Certificate
Urban Health Certificate
Format: On Campus
Designed for students who are underrepresented in medicine and interested in a career in urban primary care, this certificate program gives you the foundation to gain acceptance to, and ultimately excel in medical school. Students who are admitted to the program complete an undergraduate Urban Health Certificate (minimum of 19 credits including eight credits of urban health, eight credits of clinical science and three credits of professional development courses) while also completing the science prerequisites needed for medical school.
