Offered to both domestic students who would like to pursue areas of law more in depth through rigorous research, and to international students who wish to learn the laws of the United States.

As part of the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing consortium, this program offers a unique collaborative experience between Cleveland State University, Kent State University, Youngstown State University and the University of Akron. Choose from concentrations in fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting and poetry, and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes professional writing techniques and literary analysis. Gain practical experience through internships in various fields, including teaching, editing, grant writing, arts marketing and arts administration.

Develop a strong foundation in the research and application of critical approaches to literature and composition. Delve into the areas of practical criticism, literary theory, literature, linguistics and composition theory. The program provides opportunities for teaching writing to novice students and the ability to pursue assistantships.

Develop your skills through hands-on research and experiential learning, engaging in cutting-edge research projects in fields like surface physics, high-resolution imaging, computational biophysics and applied physics, to prepare for a successful career in academia, industry and beyond.

Develop your skills through a comprehensive curriculum that includes core courses in cybersecurity and data privacy law and management. Choose from a variety of elective courses to further your studies in your area of interest. The certificate program consists of a minimum of 12 credit hours.
