College of Health - Anatomy Lab

Scope of Work: 

CSU’s newly renovated Anatomy Lab in the College of Health provides essential hands-on training for undergraduate health science students, pre-professional students, and graduate students in our Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) programs. The lab’s cadaver dissection experience sets CSU apart, giving undergraduates rare early exposure that strengthens medical school applications and better prepares students for clinical practice. While digital tools support learning, nothing replaces the depth of understanding that comes from working directly with human anatomy. Our Pathways to Practice students often credit the lab as a key factor in their medical school success.

Beyond academic programs, the lab serves practicing clinicians through continuing education and is attracting interest from regional medical device companies for cadaver-based training and product testing. The project included renovation of classroom space and installation of the Anatomage Table—a cutting-edge, life-sized interactive 3D dissection tool. This table offers clean, safe, and realistic visualization of human anatomy, supporting collaborative and immersive learning across multiple disciplines.
