Designed for educators who want to specialize their skillset to address the unique learning needs of students who are both gifted and have disabilities. Core courses cover topics such as Differentiating Instruction, Assessing Instructional Needs and Conceptions of Talent and Disability, students gain the knowledge and skills to effectively teach twice-exceptional learners. You'll also gain insights into critical issues in the field, including the identification and programming for students with dual exceptionalities. The certificate program consists of 12 credit hours.
