  • One World Day Trip, Student Center Lobby, 10am-4pm
    The CSU International Center invites all students to go to the Cleveland Tradition- One World Day!  We will meet in the Student Center Lobby and then ride the RTA Healthline to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens together.  At the gardens there will be a parade of flags, food from around the world, and performances.
     
  • Cookout with Cru, Euclid Commons Courtyard, 5pm-7pm
    Come hang out, eat, and make some new friends with Cru.

    Welcome back to campus commuters. Join us in the Commuter Corner for some breakfast treats and coffee to get your day started!

  • Welcome Back Engineers!, Fenn Hall 1st Floor Lobby, 8:30am-11am 
    Free food, coffee, juice and donuts. Register for the Engineering Raffle. Order Washkewicz College of Engineering shirts and hoodies. Information offered about upcoming events and student activities across campus and in the Washkewicz College of Engineering.  Meet Engineering Student Services staff.

  • Bicycling Through the Flats, OrgSync Registration, 10am 
    Sign-up to go on a Bike Tour with CAB. Register with CAB on OrgSync at: https://orgsync.com/34727/forms/274017. Please be aware the actual tour is September 9th

  • Bingo for Books, SC Atrium, 11am-1pm 
    Come play bingo with the Department of Student Life for a chance to win over $1000 in bookstore gift cards!

  • Welcome Back Block Party & BBQ, Trinity Cathedral, 11:00am-2pm

  • Coffee with a COP – SC Innerlink – 9am-11am
    Come meet some of the Cleveland State University Police Officers and enjoy some coffee. Literature on safety programs will be available.

  • Student Organization Fair – SC Atrium – 11am-2pm
    Stop to learn about our 200+ student organizations on campus! You'll be able to meet organization members, learn about events, and find out when meetings are held. Different organizations will be present Wednesday and Thursday, and our campus radio station (and student organization) WCSB 89.3fm, will be there, playing your favorite tunes!

  • Campus Activities Board Open House, SC 332, 11am-1pm
    Come meet CAB! The Campus Activities Board plans close to 80 events a year for CSU Students! If you want to get involved with CAB or just want to meet the students behind the scenes feel free to stop by! Applications for their Assistant Chair positions will be available.

  • The Great Golden Giveaway – SC 332– 11am
    CAB is giving out 750 chocolate bars and 4 of them have “golden” tickets. Come grab a bar and try your luck. Students can pick up candy bars from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday in the CAB Office SC 338 until September 27th (while supplies last).

  • History & Social Studies Meet & Greet – RT 1316 – 11:30am-1:30pm
    Come meet faculty and advisers from CLASS and the College of Education and Human Services. Light refreshments will be served.

  • Healthy Vikes!, IM 205, 1-2:30pm
    Come learn about the Healthy Vikes incentive and get some bonus points and registration giveaways!

  • Student Government Association Open House – SC 217/218 – 11am-2pm
    Student will have the opportunity to get to know their student representatives including executive board and senate and learn more about SGA. Snacks will be provided and packets of information for student organizations will be available.

  • Rock the Rec & CAB Block Party, Rec Center & E 24th Street, 6-8pm
    Guess what, two of the largest welcome week events joined forces this year! Stop by Rock the Rec planned by Campus Recreation Services and then pop over to CABs Block Party BOTH right on the E 24th corridor. You can expect lots of activities, prizes, games, music, and food at both events. Plus the opportunity to win a 32” TV by participating in a Rec Center scavenger hunt!

    A welcome back ice cream social hosted by CSU's Mandel Honors College. This is a great way for students within the college to catch up with old friends and meet new ones! **This is a closed event for students of the Mandel Honors College only.
