CSU Research Corporation

Established in 2006, the Cleveland State University Research Corporation (CSURC) is a not-for-profit corporation supporting Cleveland State University (CSU) by promoting, advancing and facilitating the research and technology transfer operations and activities of the University. In particular, the primary purpose of CSURC is to perform various administrative functions currently performed by the University’s Sponsored Programs and Research Services and the Office of Research with respect to the management and licensing of the University’s intellectual property rights, including its patents and copyrights. The CSURC also oversees the administration of research funds and research activities conducted by the University in furtherance of its exempt purposes.

The CSURC serves as a single point of contact for industrial partners seeking promising technologies and research projects from Cleveland State University. Through its efforts, industrial partners can expect increased efficiency and flexibility for the transfer of technology from the University.
