GRE Fee Reduction Waiver

Students may complete a GRE Fee Reduction Request form providing they meet certain income requirements set by ETS (the company who administers the GRE).

Students must have filed a FAFSA for the current year prior to submitting the GRE Fee Reduction Request. Students who are currently not admitted (and do not have a FAFSA on file) would be required to submit the GRE Fee Reduction Request and the PDF of their SAR report via FAFSA.gov.

When filling out the GRE Fee Reduction Request -- you must already know the actual date you plan to take the exam and how you would like to receive the waiver-- pick-up in person or by mail.

Only one GRE Fee Reduction Waiver can be generated in one calendar year.  If the GRE Fee Reduction Waiver is mailed and you do not receive it-- a replacement waiver can not be generated.
