Upon extensive consultation with the Faculty Senate leadership, the President, Board of Trustees, Provost, and Student Government Association over the past 2 years, the database focused on student evaluations of teaching is ready for access by students and faculty members. The hosting website can be accessed through the use of CSU credentials (user ID and password). Currently, there is data for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016. The future intent is to capture information for three consecutive years at any given time, once more data is added to the website.
In terms of some of the features the database has to offer, there are navigation menu items across the top, such as “Results by Subject,” “Results by Instructor,” “About,” “Contact,” and “Help.” As an important note, under “Help” toward the bottom of the page, there is a reference to the criteria used to populate the searchable database (more than 5 students who completed the survey and a response rate over 30%).
