Camp Vike (CV) is a three day camp for incoming freshman at Cleveland State University (CSU) hosted by the Department of Student Life. CV gives freshman the opportunity to learn about Cleveland State's traditions and how to be successful during their first year. CV is packed with fun activities and opportunities to make friends with 100 incoming freshmen and experienced campus leaders. Students will learn how to get involved in campus activities, the numerous academic support services and resources available to them, and how to work as a team.
Camp Vike is a unique experience that will foster engagement for incoming freshman at CSU. In order to provide continued support for CV participants, all CV students will be invited and encouraged to be a part of the Freshman Class Council. Camp Vike will take place at Beulah Beach in Vermillon, OH (https://www.beulahbeach.org/guestgroups) and all participants are required to stay for the duration of the camp. There is a $35 nonrefundable fee to attend Camp Vike.This fee covers the entire cost of CV including transportation to and from CSU, all camp activities, and meals. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
