Student Organization & Activity Fairs
Each semester, the Center for Student Involvement offers students the chance to meet our student organizations. The Fall Student Organization & Activity Fairs are held every September and includes representatives from many of our more than 200+ recognized student organizations. The Spring Semester Fairs are held in January.
The Center for Student Activities & Involvement provides one day leadership development conferences and other learning opportunities for all Cleveland State University students.
National Society of Leadership & Success
The Society is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.
Upon completion of the step-by-step program, members receive their leadership certificate to mark this honorable distinction and take their place among the top student leaders on campus and across the country. Members are able to list their affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including their CSU resume.
Greek 101 is an educational program for all new members of our values-based collegiate greek-lettered fraternal organizations at CSU. Participation in Greek 101 is required for all new members during the semester in which they join the fraternity and sorority community.
Annual Leadership Awards
Every April, the Division of Student Affairs presents leadership awards to students for outstanding achievements in leadership and service to the University community. Several awards are presented each year including the Diane Dilliard Student Organization of the Year Award (SOYA) and the Peggy Kirschner Outstanding Student Leader Award.
Officer Training Programs
Each semester, the Center for Student Involvement hosts several Student Organization Officer Training programs. These meetings cover essential materials to all recognized student organizations at Cleveland State. Also, important new and/or updated policies and procedures are provided by University staff.
