Campus Activities Board (CAB) and the Division of Campus Engagement, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (CEDEI) are proud to introduce you to CSU's new tradition! 2022 marks the inaugural CSU Spirit Week where students, faculty and staff will celebrate Viking pride and all things CSU!

CSU Women's Volleyball vs Oakland

Spirit Week Kick Off

Giveaways, Rascal House and more will be available to you, so stop by to hang and check out CAB events for the week! Hosted by Campus Activities Board.

School of Nursing Mixer
2-4 p.m.
Julka Hall First Floor Atruim 

This mixer is intended to engage nursing students and faculty. They will have lawn games and provide refreshments and food. Hosted by School of Nursing.

CSU Men's Golf
Two-day event
Lakewood Country Club, Westlake OH

Men's Golf hosts the Tom Tontimonia Invite at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake. This is the Vikes' only home event this fall so if you can make it, come cheer on the Green & White! It is a two-day event with the first day of competition on Monday, Oct. 3 and will conclude Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Blooming with Bloomberg - Arts and Sciences Advising Open House

Visit the Arts and Sciences Student Services Advising Center for a Spirit Week Open House. Meet with college advisors and the new dean of the college, chat, and let a relationship with your advisor bloom! Hosted by Arts and Sciences Student Services Advising Center.

Bring out your Green & White CSU Spirit Wear! Viking Outfitters will be having a selfie station, light refreshments and raffle. To enter raffle, you must be wearing your CSU Spirit Wear during the hours of the event. Winners will be announced at 3pm. Hosted by CSU Viking Outfitters.

Come and ask! Are there things you'd like changed or addressed? Ali is happy to hear that as well, all while enjoying Ali's favorite treat: Dr. Pepper ice cream floats. Golden Apple Awards (Invitation Only)

Annual award ceremony from the Young Alumni Council presenting awards to faculty members who were nominated for recognition of their impact on our alumni. This invitation-only event is in its 9th year and is a proud tradition of the Young Alumni Council to recognize the hard work and impact of our faculty.

Join the Monte Ahuja College of Business at 9:45 a.m. for Donuts with the Dean in the College of Business Building lobby! Pick up a donut, have a cup of coffee on them, meet the dean and network in these informal meet and greet sessions. Each session will have faculty or staff members from the college in attendance as well and be open to questions from all attendees. No RSVP necessary. They are there until the donuts are gone!

Are you ready to GLOW? Join our 3 Zumba and Dance instructors in your brightest neon or white attire for a 60 minute dance party in the dark! This blacklight cardio dance class is perfect for all fitness levels. Glow sticks and paint will be provided for some added fun. Hosted by CSU Campus Recreation Services.

The King Movie Nite

President's Investiture Ceremony

Investiture is one of the oldest traditions in academia — a ceremony marked by an official rank, authority or power bestowed upon a college or university leader that both honors the milestone of new leadership and the university’s rich history and tradition. Spirit Parade
Noon-1 p.m.
Starts on the MU Lawn

Wrapping up a week-long celebration of Spirit Week at Cleveland State, the parade begins on the front lawn of the Music and Communications Building and will encircle campus along Euclid Avenue, East 24 Street, Chester Avenue, and East 18 Street, ending at the Student Center Plaza. The parade will feature music, campus organizations, student athletes and more. Click here for more information including the parade route.

The Killers - Imploding the Mirage Tour
7 p.m.
Wolstein Center

The Killers released their seventh studio album, entitled Pressure Machine, on Island Records on August 13, 2021. The album was co-produced by the band, Shawn Everett, and Jonathan Rado (of Foxygen), all of whom worked together on The Killers’ critically-acclaimed album Imploding The Mirage, released last year. The Killers are back to the road to celebrate both Pressure Machine and Imploding The Mirage, along with their much-loved catalog of global hits.
