Dr. Vail Launches 1st “Existential Psychology” SPSP Conference

Dr. Kenneth Vail was the lead organizer launching the 1st Existential Psychology conference at the 2019 meeting of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) in Portland, OR. The event was the first of its kind at SPSP; organizers had to find larger venues twice and it sold out 3 times!

The event was a great success—featuring keynote presentations, invited research talks, a data blitz session, a full poster session, and a networking luncheon.

Cleveland State University was also one of several sponsors who helped to fund over a dozen travel awards to promote the inclusion of diverse student researchers and presenters.

Stay tuned for more information about the next event, as Dr. Vail will also be lead organizer for the 2nd Existential Psychology conference taking place late February in New Orleans, LA.
