WE PROVIDE ADVISING FOR THE MAJOR ONLY.  The College of Science and Health Professions Advisors provide assistance with general education requirements and college requirements.  In order to schedule an appointment for academic advising, please call 216-687-9321.

  • Read the website for general information about the Health Sciences major, including the overview of all the programs.  Come prepared with questions.
  • Please bring a copy of any official or unofficial transcripts to the appointment, including a copy of your CSU records so that we may look at your coursework and determine which courses apply to the major. We do NOT want to have to print out your records for you as this takes too much time.  So, please come prepared.
  • If you completed coursework from another school, we need to see the transfer credit evaluation completed by CSU admissions.  If course equivalencies have not been determined by admissions (for example BIO 1500 from Tri-C is equal to BIO 200 at CSU), but the course did transfer to CSU as a general course (for example, a science or social science), please bring a course description so we may evaluate whether we will apply the course to the major.
  • If you are an international student, you must have your records evaluated by the Center for International Students Program.  Contact information and application requirements are available at  Please complete all requirements listed before making an appointment with HSC for advising.
