How do we process applications?

We are currently accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year. If you would like to live on campus, be sure to submit a housing application as soon as possible. The sooner you submit a housing application, the more likely it is that we will be able to offer you a housing contract.

Here’s how we’ll process housing applications and send out contracts for new residents:

  • We will start sending out housing contracts to new residents March 1, 2018. Contracts will be sent out via email to your CSU email address.
  • Housing applications submitted by March 1 will be processed in the order in which we receive the application.
  • Once we have offered a contract to all students who have submitted an application by March 1, we will process the applications of those students who live 30 miles or more away from campus. Applications in this group will be processed based on the date we receive the application.
  • When all students who live 30 miles or more away from campus have been offered a housing contract, we will process applications based on the date we receive the application, regardless of distance from campus.

We determine the distance from campus via a Google search of the distance between the ZIP codes for the campus (44115) and the applicant’s home address. For example, searching “distance between 44115 and 44333” shows that there are 26.2 miles between those zip codes.
