Fit Together Offering Details

FitTogether a la Carte Options

Educational Sessions
  • Educational sessions run approximately 45-60 minutes and can be tailored to meet your group's needs
  • Presentations are available for groups of 5+.
  • Access to a projector and a sound system is ideal, but not required for delivery of the presentation. If a projector is available, the presenter will bring a laptop to connect.
  • The group is responsible for providing and/or reserving space for the educational session.
     
Wellness Appraisal Outreach
  • Groups must have a private setting (i.e. office, conference room, etc.) available for testing and consultation.
  • The space should be reserved for one-hour for every five participants.
  • Minimum of 5 individuals required.
  • Appraisal will include the following: Resting blood pressure and heart rate, height, weight, body mass index, body fat percentage, and circumference measurements.
  • Results will be compiled using MicroFit software and reports will be e-mailed out to participants.
  • Individuals are encouraged to be well-hydrated and not have exercised prior to testing.
     
Massage Therapy Outreach
  • One of our massage therapist will come to your group's desired on-campus/off-campus location to provide chair massages for groups of 5 or more.
  • In order to provide quality chair massages, a minimum massage duration of 5 minutes/participant is recommended but you can request longer depending on the amount of people in your group.
  • To accommodate larger groups, additional hour(s) can be added or you can request a second massage therapist for the event.
  • Minimum of 5 participants and 1 hour required.
     
Nutrition Outreach
  • Minimum of 5 participants and 1 hour required for nutrition workshops and cooking demos.
     
Fitness Outreach
  • Campus Recreation Services will provide fitness classes that are one-hour in length, and are taught by a CRS Group Fitness Instructor, classes are available for groups of 5-50, depending on the space and class format chosen.
  • Classes can be scheduled for one time or a recurring basis, and can be held in the location of the group's choice or at the Recreation Center.
  • For classes offered in the Recreation Center, a studio space will be provided for you.
  • You may request any class format that is on the group fitness schedule.
  • Cycling classes have a 19 participant limit and classes in Studio 158 have a 10 participant limit.
  • All other class formats taking place in the Recreation Center can accommodate up to 30 participants.
  • For classes located at an on campus location or off campus location, an instructor will be provided
    • Group must provide a iPod dock or other sound system for the instructor to use.
    • Mats will not be provided.
    • It is the participants responsibility to bring their own water bottle and towel and wear proper attire for the selected activity.
  • To receive the recurring class rate, a minimum of three (3) classes must be scheduled. All recurring classes must be scheduled no more than one month apart.
