Mrs. Norma J. Freeman Legacy

The faculty and staff of Project 400:  Our Lived Experience at Cleveland State University extends our sincerest condolences to Mr. Don Freeman and Family in the passing of Mrs. Norma Freeman.   Mrs. Freeman was a champion for the underserved members of the Black community.   Her work and contributions to Cleveland State University and the community will be cherished and remembered.   "Mother" Freeman was the matriarch of the African American grassroots and activist community in Cleveland and her legacy will live on as a respected ancestor.   The below video highlights Mrs. Freeman advocating for and serving her community.
