Rape/Sexual Assault Prevention
The responsibility for continuing education about rape and other sex offenses and their prevention is assumed by the Health and Wellness Services. This includes presentations of educational programs about rape and other sex offenses to the University community at large, as well as selected classes and targeted student populations such as athletes, residence hall advisors, and new students. The education program has and will continue to include the campus-wide distribution of information about rape and other sex offenses in the form of brochures, flyers, and posters. In addition, professionals in the Department of Student Life, Counseling Center, Health Services, and Police Department are available to meet one-on-one with members of the University community to discuss issues surrounding rape and sexual assault prevention.
