College of Education and Human Services

Based on a collaborative, integrative, clinical model for teacher preparation, our Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Special Education, Physical Education and Health, and Integrated licensure (grades 7-12) programs offer direct engagement with school students and ensure pre-service teachers develop the skills and experiences needed to become effective teachers. Committed to student engagement and success, the College also offers the Cleveland Fellows Program, made possible through a jointly funded initiative by the Cleveland Foundation and the Cleveland Municipal School District (CMSD). This innovative partnership provides paid internships and stipends to undergraduate students during their final year with the goal of securing a teaching position within CMSD upon graduation.

See firsthand how we’re reimagining the educational pathway for tomorrow’s educators and allied sport professionals.
