Apply to Propel Ohio 2018

At the upcoming fourth annual Propel Ohio Collegiate Leadership Summit, network with students across the state who are passionate about becoming Ohio's future civic leaders. Propel Ohio will actively engage students on issues that affect childhood poverty, provide workshops on ways to get involved in their communities, and bring together organizations from across the state for an internship fair. Students – along with Senator Sherrod Brown and guest speakers – will discuss how college students can tackle our state’s challenges in their Ohio communities.
In addition to Senator Brown, featured speakers include Matthew Desmond, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City.
Who: Undergraduate students at Ohio two-year or four-year public or private colleges, universities, and regional campuses.
When: Friday, October 12, 2018. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.
Where: Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center, 2000 Prospect Ave E, Cleveland, OH 44115.
Apply by Friday, September 14th by submitting your application here. Applicants are chosen to participate in Propel by their universities. The event is free to attend, and a light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Current partners include: the Office of U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Ohio Campus Compact, Corporation for National and Community Service, Cleveland State University, Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, The Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, and AT&T.
