Italy - Semester / Year Long Programs

Arcadia University in Italy
Arcadia offers a variety of programs at Academia Italiana in Florence, Accademia Italiana in Rome, Universita del Salento in Lecce, Umbra Institute in Perugia, and the Mediterranean Center fo Arts and Science in Syracuse.

Athena offers programs in Florence, Rome, Tuscania, and Venice. Designed to expose students to Italian culture through content courses taught in English, intensive Italian language courses, and academic field trips, each program location offers a different taste of Italian life. The unique Tour of Italy program enables students to study in three of the Italian cities during one semester abroad; courses options are designed to draw on local themes and offer the opportunity to experience some of the widely contrasting realities of Italy today.

Cultural Experiences Abroad
CEA offers a program in Florence, Italy at Palazzo Rucellai, the Institute for Fine and Liberal Arts as well as Santa Reparata International School of Art. Fields of study available include Italian, Art History, Studio Art, History, Political Science, Literature, and others.

Study Abroad Italy
Students can choose to study in university programs in four different locations in Italy based on interests and budget: Florence, Sicily, Milan, and Rome.

Studio Art Centers International (SACI) - Italy
Studio Art Centers International is accredited for undergraduate and graduate U.S. university-level study. Art Department classes normally meet with instructors for 90 hours per term (including field trips).

American Institute for Foreign Studies offers students two options to study abroad in Italy. One is located in Florence and the other in Rome. Many course options are available. Regional resident directors offer continuous in-country support for the duration of your term abroad.

ISA offers study abroad programs in both Rome and Florence . Some of the program offerings include special concentrated studies in intensive language, culture and civilization. Resident directors are also on-site offering continuous in-country support for the duration of your term abroad.

The CIEE Study Center in Ferrara opened in 2003. This program is designed for students with little or no Italian language background with a strong interest in learning the Italian language and culture through content courses taught in English and an intensive Italian language class.

Academic Programs International
API, a partner with the CISP, offers several great programs located in Florence, Rome, Syracuse, Tuscania, and Venice. They also offer a 3 Cities program which takes you to Tuscania, Rome, and Florence or Venice. Click the program name above to learn more!
