CISP provides live CPT Q&A sessions via Zoom for international students who are interested in doing CPT. You can find the schedule of CPT Q&A sessions below. However, please know that before attending CPT Q&A session you are required to carefully go over all the information and powerpoint presentation of CPT application process posted here. Then, you can register and attend CPT Q&A session to ask your questions to CISP advisor. During the sessions, we do not go over those information and powerpoint presentation again. You should also find CPT application link yourself by closely reviewing all the information and powerpoint presentation.
To be eligible for CPT, you must first meet the following criteria:
To be eligible for CPT, you must:
- Have been lawfully enrolled on a full-time basis for one academic year (i.e. two full consecutive terms).
- Be in lawful F-1 status
- Have a job offer
- Not be enrolled in an intensive English language training program
- You must be registered for an academic course that requires an out of the classroom experience (i.e. practicum, student teaching, field experience, internship, etc...).
