University Honors Program Admissions
Each year the University Honors Program accepts a very limited number of students based on the scholarship
attached to the academic program. Approximately 40 first-year college students and 20 college juniors enter the program each fall. The Honors Program receives anywhere from 200 to 250 applications each given year. Thus, the Honors Program is very competitive. Even if a student meets the application criteria of the Honors Program, they may not be accepted. With so many applications and so few seats, a committee is used to review each application and determine which students are selected for admission.
