Education Abroad

The Mandel Honors College at CSU works closely with the Center for International Services and Programs (CISP) to create Study Abroad opportunities for students in the Mandel Honors College. Spending time as a student abroad is a great way to learn about other cultures, make connections with students from other countries and universities, and to prepare yourselves for lives and careers in an increasingly global society. Students majoring in any discipline can benefit from a study abroad experience. Many students who study abroad remember that experience as the best part of their time at University.

We encourage you to consult the Education Abroad information made available through CISP and to discuss your Study Abroad plans with your Honors or Scholars advisor, your departmental advisor, the Mandel Honors College Dean and the staff in the CISP. Planning ahead is essential, so don't wait until a few weeks before you would like to travel. And, remember that there are various kinds of study abroad programs: some are limited to Honors College students, some are open to anyone enrolled in University; some are for a whole semester or a full academic year; some are for a few weeks or for a summer; some are administered directly by CSU, while others involve working with other US universities.
