Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement

Diversity Councils

Cleveland State University's Diversity Councils are assemblages of faculty, staff and external stakeholders who meet regularly to design, implement and monitor strategies that address diversity challenges and opportunities in each of the University’s colleges. Members are appointed by the respective Deans of the Colleges and departments throughout the University.

Annually, each of the diversity councils identifies two strategies it will pursue based upon the goals of the Diversity Action Plan, the guidance of the President’s Council on Diversity, and the needs of their Colleges and non-academic departments. The Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement provides technical and financial support to assist the Councils in their endeavors.
