China Day

The Confucius Institute at Cleveland State University is proud to announce that it will be hosting China Day, a celebration of Chinese language, art, and culture, on Saturday, September 27th, 2014, in Cleveland State's Main Classroom atrium.

Join us this year for a chance to experience:

·         Photography exhibitions
·         Chinese games
·         Chinese language lessons
·         Calligraphy lessons
·         Tea ceremonies
·         Mooncake tastings
·         Dance lessons
·         Chinese message walls
The Confucius Institute at Cleveland State looks forward to celebrating with guests from throughout Ohio, and is proud of its work to foster language and cultural exchanges between the people of China and members of the Cleveland-area community.  We look forward to a day full of amusement, entertainment, and educational opportunities and hope that all members of the community, young and old, will be able to attend and learn more about China and its culture.
China Day is part of the Global Confucius Institute Day, an international collection of events which will occur throughout almost a hundred nations on six continents in celebration of the ten year anniversary of the Confucius Institute Headquarters and the Confucius Institute program world-wide.
