  • The Ensemble Series features performances of the many large ensembles in the School of Music. These include the CSU Orchestra, CSU Chamber Orchestra, CSU Wind Ensemble, CSU Chamber Winds, CSU Jazz Ensemble and Combos, CSU Chorus, CSU Chorale, CSU Percussion Ensemble, and CSU Clarinet Ensemble.
  • The School of Music also sponsors the ongoing Cleveland Contemporary Players series.

In addition to the above-mentioned series, many student recitals are presented throughout the year. Our calendar is published each semester and appears on this website.

Department of Africana Studies

Outside of the School of Music, the Jazz Heritage Orchestra, a professional, 17-piece, not-for-profit performance/education aggregation, is officially in residence in the Cleveland State University Department of Africana Studies. The orchestra is composed of outstanding jazz performers who are also highly competent music educators. The Jazz Heritage Orchestra is available for concerts, educational seminars, clinics, master classes, and workshops throughout the United States of America and around the world.
