Mrs. Marquard earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from CSU. She taught high school math and physics for 18 years before moving into high school administration.

As the Associate Principal for Academics, Mrs. Marquard was responsible for accreditation, curriculum, scheduling, grading and assessment. After retiring from the school where she worked for 32 years, she came to CSU in 2007 as an instructor in the Mathematics Department.

She teaches introductory level math courses and she developed an online version of the MTH 147 Statistical Applications course. In the Spring of 2011 she became involved in the CSUteach Program when she and Dr. Goodell co-taught the MTH 201 Functions & Modeling class. She hopes to continue sharing her teaching experience with prospective teachers.
