Join us to meet Dean Trilling, a data analytics mastermind and Dr. Sreedhar Madhavaram, Professor of Marketing at Cleveland State University to unpack the meaning and practice of big data and analytics. In their discussion, they will explore how to make a big data program work and what the key factors are in delivering a successful program.
Dean is DigitalC's Senior Vice President for Data-Driven Solutions and leads strategy to accelerate access, adoption and use of civic analytics to address community priorities and identify new possibilities.
Prior to joining DigitalC, Dean served in a variety of leadership roles within IBM's Information and Analytics Business, most recently as Retail Analytics Leader for North America. In this role, his focus was helping retail and distribution companies around the world develop strategies for turning information into insights to create meaningful improvements in business performance.
Dr. Sreedhar Madhavaram is a Professor of Marketing at Cleveland State University. His work has been published in the Academy of Marketing Science Review, Industrial Marketing Management, the Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Education, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and many, many other peer-reviewed publications. He is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences. His research interests include marketing strategy, theory and concepts; marketing communications; marketing pedagogy; organizational knowledge and sales management.
