Join us for the last CRT of the 2016-2017 academic season to hear the Big River Steel story, directly from CEO David Stickler.

Big River Steel (BRS) is the first LEED Certified Steel Production Facility in the world. Located in Osceola, Arkansas, BRS opened the world’s first Flex Mill™.

The FlexMill™ combines the best of integrated mills and mini mills by allowing for the wide product mix and superior grade capabilities of a more traditional integrated steel mill and having the nimbleness and technological advancements of the newer more technologically-advanced mini mills.

The Mill began production in late 2016 and set a world record for highest production quantities of a new mill upon opening. BRS worked with Emerald Built Environments to manage the LEED Certification.
