Join us on Tuesday, April 12th to hear from three women actively involved in the business of Cleveland sports. All three are members of WISE - Women in Sports and Events Cleveland. The Cleveland Chapter of WISE consists of 140+ members who share a passion for Sports, Events, Entertainment, Media, Academic and supporting industries. Learn more about WISE here.

Brooke UehleinBrooke Cuevas Uehlein, Regional Sponsorship Sales Manager, Legends Sales & Marketing, President of WISE

Brooke has worked for Legends Sales and Marketing since 2010 overseeing advertising and sponsorship sales for a number of professaional venues in Ohio. Legends Sales and Marketing, along with Legends Hospitality, is a division of the Dallas Cowboys. Current Legends properties close to Cleveland State University include the I-X Center and the Ohio Turnpike. Prior to joining the Legends team, Brooke worked in sales and marketing for consulting and on-site service contractor Global Spectrum and Front Row Marketing, divisions of Comccast Spectator. A native Clevelander, Brooke still remains in contact with her mentors from her first professional job at the Cleveland Cavaliers. 

Megan Svat KoseyMegan Svat Rosey, Marketing Consultant, ESPN Cleveland/Good Karma Brands, Marketing Chair of WISE

Megan is a Marketing Consultant with ESPN Cleveland, one of the top recognized media companies in Cleveland and throughout the United States. In her position, she strives to develop long-lasting partnerships with businesses throughout Northeast Ohio and increase their sales and profitability by integrating them into Good Karma Brands (owner of ESPNCleveland.com, ESPN 850 WKNR and others). For the past three years, Megan has been a part of "Home of the Cleveland Browns" on ESPN. As a recognized member of Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Cleveland, Megan has served as Luncheon Committee Co-chair and has played integral roles in WISE events such as the Cleveland Golf Outing.

Laura Waters BrownLaura Waters-Brown, Digital Business Coordinator, Cleveland Browns

Laura is a Digital Business Coordinator with the Cleveland Browns and is focused on supporting revenue generating departments through digital and social media from ideation, digital development, analytics and reporting. Prior to her work with the Cleveland Browns, Laura was an Innovation Specialist for Property Consulting Group, an agency focused on sales and consultation ranging from digital to ticket sales strategies. She also served as the State Tournament Game Day Director for the Ohio High School Athletics Association and worked for The Ohio State University Athletics Department in Fan Experience and Promotions.


This student engagement program is sponsored by the Undergraduate Programs and Student Services Office and is open to all Cleveland State University students, alumni and Northeast Ohio business professionals.
