SQL II (ILT)

 

Course Description:

Structured Query Language (SQL) is a standard programming language. In this hands-on class you will be provided with advanced features and clauses of the SELECT statement. This course focuses on SQL used by more than 100 databases, languages and software applications. Key topics covered: inner, left outer, right outer, natural, cross and self joins; correlated sub queries and writing SQL to generate SQL.

Real-World Application:

This course is designed for persons who work in any relational database environment, including Oracle, SQL Server, Access, and many others.

Prerequisites:

SQL I and Windows experience or equivalent experience. 

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to:

  • Write SQL Select statements, including correlated subqueries, inner joins, natural joins, cross joins, outer joins, self joins
  • Write SQL Select statements to create SQL
