"Being in the field of HR has taught me that you need to get to know your business: what they do, why they do it and how they dow it because knowing this enables HR professionals to provide support," Piage said. "HR is not always black and white, so the value of consistency is key. Expect the unexpected because every person and situation is unique."
When asked what she hopes to accomplish in her career, Paige replied, "I hope to be in an influential position one day to serve as a role model and mentor to young women, especially those in disadvantaged situations. I am blessed with a number of mentors who have helped shape me into who I am today. I would like to assist in developing strategies that cna build a company's brand through its people. There are proven links between employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction. This could truly help create a corporate culture where people understand the company's values."
