Points of Pride

Michael Nowoslawski

Michael Nowoslawski is a transfer student and Marketing Major. Michael chose to transfer to Cleveland State University because of its affordability, culture and urban setting.

“There is something about Cleveland State that makes you feel like you get to be a part of Cleveland,” Michael says. “Some days it’s going to a Cavs game after class is over and other days you get dinner with friends at one of the famous restaurants in the area.”

Michael has served as president of the club volleyball team, been a member of student government and served as a senator for the Monte Ahuja College of Business. The senior is pursuing his marketing degree with goals of opening his own company some day.

“After transferring to Cleveland State, I have met so many great people who have helped me connect with professionals in my field of study,” he says.

When he’s not busy pursuing his career dreams, Michael spends his time training for American Ninja Warrior. As you can see, he’s quite good at it.

His story is unique but one of many examples of Engaged Learning at Cleveland State. See his CSU story in the video below.
