Anne Nelson

In April of 2015, Anne Nelson, Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs and Student Services presented her research and abstract poster during the NACADA Region V Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Anne's research focuses on how to improve retention and graduation rates for college students at a four year institution by focusing on the sophomore student. Her paper was accepted by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising Professional Organization to present at their regional conference. She plans to use the findings to further develop a Sophomore Experience Program to help improve the College of Business' sophomore retention rates, which will then help improve graduation rates.
