On Tuesday, June 30th at the Shaker LaunchHouse Community Open House, the Cleveland State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) clients who applied to be part of a special crowdfunding initiative will pitch their campaign and business. Special guest, Gina Prodan Kelly will talk about successfully launching and running a crowdfunding campaign. Then, four to five of the winning pitches will then receive assistance creating and promoting their crowdfunding campaigns to help fuel their businesses.
The Shaker LaunchHouse Community Open House will be held on Tuesday, June 30th from 3:00 t 7:00 PM at 3558 Lee Road in Shaker Heights. At the Open House, community members will receive tours of the facility, tours of the new Entrepreneurial Housing (located behind the current LaunchHouse facility), enjoy music compliments of Matt Harmon (Cleveland-based singer/songwriter), treats compliments of Poison Berry Bakery, Olivia Rose Confections and food truck, Zest Cleveland.
The Cleveland State University SBDC is located within the Cleveland Heights Library and helps entrepreneurs and small businesses by offering free to low-cost counseling services, education sessions/programming and other services.
