The Monte Ahuja College of Business Alumni Chapter is pleased to announce the first in an executive speaker series during Homecoming 2016, "Energy in the 21st Century".
The landscape for energy is changing rapidly. In this panel discussion perspectives on energy from an international, financial and legal scale will be explored. Gain insights on the next trends in clean, renewable energy. Where solar, wind and shale sources of energy are headed in the future and learn from energy experts. Panelists include:

David J. Fornari
Dave Fornari is an executive with over 35 years of business experience in management consulting and hands-on corporate management. He has successfully led and grew profitable businesses and consulting practices providing high quality and innovative services to strategic clients. Dave retired from Deloitte after 31 years, 22 years as an Energy Consulting partner with 10 years as the Global or US Energy & Resources Consulting Leader. As a Deloitte Eminence Fellow, Dave was a frequent speaker and author on energy and resources strategy and management.
An alumnus twice over, Dave earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1976 and his Master of Business Administration in 1980 from Cleveland State University. He serves not only as Executive in Residence at the Monte Ahuja College of Business, but also on the College's Visiting Committee and as Fellow for the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs.
An alumnus of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Steve Percy is a former CSU Foundation Board member, Interim Dean and head of the Investment Committee and Chair of the National Advisory Council of Cleveland-Marshall.
Prior to joining what was then Standard Oil, Mr. Percy served in the U.S. Army and worked for Babcock & Wilcox. Among many significant roles, Steve served as a member of President Clinton's Council on Sustainable Development as Co-Chair of the Climate Change Task Force. Since his retirement from BP in 1999, he has served as the head of Phillips Petroleum's Refining, Marketing and Transportation Company. Mr. Percy served as a visiting professor of Corporate Strategy and International Business at the University of Michigan and worked as a consultant in the fields of environment, energy and materials. A Cleveland native, we are pleased to welcome him back to the Monte Ahuja College of Business.
David E. Nash is a Partner at McMahon DeGulis LLP, an environmental and energy law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio. As an environmental lawyer for over 25 years, Dave has negotiated diverse stakeholder interests to achieve real world business and legal solutions. Dave’s legal practice includes environmental issues relating to advanced energy, emerging technologies, corporate sustainability, climate change, business and real estate transactions, regulatory matters and legislative matters, environmental litigation, and environmental enforcement actions.
Dave has extensive experience in advanced and renewable energy permitting and regulatory counseling for developers and owners, including counseling for the first offshore wind turbine project proposed for Lake Erie. He successfully negotiated regulatory hurdles on first functioning wind turbine on the southern shore of Lake Erie. He has provided counseling on renewable energy credits, energy efficiency, and carbon emission credit and offset projects and advised on real estate transactions, including lease counseling for landowners on wind farm and solar farm projects. Dave was honored as a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, Class of 2001. He was also listed as one of the best environmental lawyers in America by The Best Lawyers in America and recognized by Chambers USA.
Craig Leone is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch. His approach to wealth management has been so well-received that he is often asked to provide instruction to other advisors within the Merrill Lynch system and speak on the topic. A seasoned professional with a clear sense of conscientiousness and commitment, Craig began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1996 and now manages and mentors professionals.
Craig holds the Certified Management Analyst (CIMA) designation licensed through the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an MBA alumnus from Cleveland State University and holds his BA in Accounting from Bowling Green State University. He has been actively involved in the Cleveland State community as a past Visiting Committee member and past president of the alumni board for the Monte Ahuja College of Business.
