On Thursday, October 12th, the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) class will host three industry professionals. All Monte Ahuja College of Business students are welcome to attend.
Grant Palmer, Senior Analyst at Courtland Partners
Mr. Palmer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining private equity real estate investment performance, reviewing and reconciling data from managers and reporting to institutional investors. Courtland Partners, Ltd., is an institutional real estate consulting firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio with offices in Los Angeles, California and London, England.
Matthew Feda, Equity Investment and Portfolio Strategist, PNC
Mr. Feda is an alumnus of Cleveland State University, earning his BBA in Finance in 2011. While at Cleveland State, he was active in the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF). He began his career as an intern for Retirement Solutions and then was hired as an Investment Analyst at Beacon Financial Partners before joining PNC.
Claude Zoghzoghi, Financial Analyst, Latitude Airlines
Mr. Zoghzoghi is a recent alumnus of Cleveland State University. He currently works as a Financial Analyst at a startup company, Latitude Airlines and Aladdin's Eatery. He is a motivated professional skilled in fundamental and technical analysis, leveraged finance, LBOs deals, financial modeling and team-building. In the summer of 2016, Claude interned in Leveraged Finance-Middle Market Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in New York, one of the largest financial instituations in the world. John Gonzales, Department Supervisor, Cleveland Clinic
A passionate management professional with eight years of experience in the Health Care industry, Mr. Gonzales supervises his department at the Cleveland Clinic and constantly strives to improve performance and employee engagement. In his role, he provides his team with feedback, analysis and presents information for improvement. He earned his MBA from Cleveland State University in 2017.
