Mary Wilson Hrivnak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management in the Monte Ahuja College of Business where she teaches and conducts research in human resource management.
Prior to moving to the Cleveland area in 1991, she worked as a consultant to the training department at ALCOA Tennessee Operations. With over 25 years in human resource management, Mary has worked on a variety of consulting projects in the Northeast Ohio area.
She earned a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola University New Orleans. Mary is passionate about connecting the research and practitioner worlds and is certified as a senior professional in human resources through the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management. She is a recent past chair of the college’s diversity council and is interested in how people uniquely contribute to a sustainable workforce.
