Dr. Steve Belovich is the founder and majority shareholder of IQware Solutions, LLC, an enterprise software company. IQware makes and sells secure Master Data Management (MDM) Software to the regulated industries, including health care, pharmaceutical and government. Dr. Belovich designed the initial version of the patented IQware software and supervised its evolution into its present form.
Prior to founding IQware, Belovich was the founder and majority shareholder of SmartData. Publicly-traded, SmartData won the 2000 NorTech award for innovation from CWRU's Enterprise Development Institute. Prior to founding SmartData, Belovich was Vice Presidnet of BV Technologies, an engineering firm that he co-founded in 1988.
Dr. Belovich has been an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University's Washkewicz College of Engineering. He created CSU's Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSE) degree program, the first of its kind in the State of Ohio. He has published numerous technical papers and has testified in Federal court under oath as an expert witness on intellectual property (IP) matters numerous times. He holds a number of U.S. patents for medical and electrical devices. Dr. Belovich earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University, a Master of Science in 1983 and a Ph.D. in 1987 from Cleveland State University in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
