Yax Te' Books has left Cleveland State University to become a project of the MAYA EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION The MEF is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the education of Mayas in Central America and Mexico and public education and projects related to the study and preservation of Mayan culture.

This collaboration allows Yax Te' Books to publish more and to diversify its publications, and also to distribute the works produced by other MEF projects.
