Bill Denihan became the Executive Director of Cuyahoga County's Department of Children and Family Services in 1999, the largest children services department in the State. Prior to joining Children and Family Services, Bill served as the Claims Director of the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, was the first Director of the Ohio State Employment Relations Board, Acting Director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Director of the Ohio Department of Highway Safety, Director of the City of Cleveland's Department of Public Service, and, most recently, Director of Cleveland's Department of Public Safety with two appointments as Chief of Police. Along with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs, Bill also has completed Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs's Leadership Academy for Public Officials and the Ohio Executive Institute.
