RONALD HILL (‘74 MS)

Executive Director, Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA)

Ronald Hill is Executive Director of the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA). The WRAAA serves five counties as the state designated planning, coordinating and administrative agency for federal and state funded aging services. Mr. Hill has 18 years of experience in housing and community development with 14 years of experience in aging service development and nonprofit administration. He serves on the governing boards of the National and Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging, Federation for Community Planning, the Institutional Review Board of the Benjamin Rose Institute, and the Western Reserve Geriatric Education Center. He was appointed as a Presidential delegate to the 1995 White House Conference on Aging and holds an honorary life membership in the Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society at Cleveland State University. Mr. Hill earned a BA degree from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Urban Studies from Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs in 1974. He most recently completed a graduate certificate in Gerontological Studies from Cleveland State University.
