Beginning as a community organizer with SLCDC in 1992, Rebecca developed and implemented housing strategies for neighborhoods which resulted in increased homeownership rates and improved housing stock in South Lorain. Partnerships with local banks were also established to begin construction on new homes in the SLCDC neighborhoods for the first time in twenty years. Rebecca is a 1990 cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies graduate from Maxine Goodman Levin School of Urban Affairs at CSU. She received her Master of Science degree in 1992 with a concentration in urban planning and design. Rebecca received the Community Investment Award in 1999 and a Certificate of Recognition from the Public Service Consortium in 1994.
