Mayor, City of Lakewood

Madeline became Mayor of Lakewood, Ohio in 1996 after seven years as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. As Lakewood's first woman mayor, she has focused her efforts on developing an effective economic development strategy, controlling costs, preserving high quality health and safety services and protecting the residential character of the community. Prior to her election to public office, Madeline served on the administrative staff of the Cuyahoga County Board of Commissioners and as Clerk of Council/Legislative Aide for Lakewood City Council.
